Spotlight on Banning Hospitals

July's Spotlight is brought to you by this article about VBAC bans in Connecticut:

Johnson Memorial Hospital

St. Vincents Medical Center

New Milford Hospital

Sharon Hospital

Remember, hospitals that ban vaginal birth are doing just that. They are saying that you do not have the right to choose whether or not you can refuse surgery when you do not think it's necessary. Imagine if your cardiologist informed you that you WOULD have open heart surgery, whether you liked it or not. Pregnant women are not stupid nor are they mentally compromised. We deserve the right to determine our own medical care and that of our infants.
